Kathryn L. Fausel

Kathryn Fausel has been teaching orchestra at Timothy Edwards Middle School in South Windsor since August 2003. She served one year as a New Teacher Representative for the Connecticut chapter of ASTA before serving as Secretary to the organization. Kathryn has played first violin with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra since 2001. She taught private lessons on violin and viola for nine years in Manchester, South Windsor and East Hartford. While at the Hartt School, she served as Co-President of the Hartt Student Chapter of ASTA 2000-2001. She was Assistant Director and teacher in The Hartt String Project 2001-2003. Mrs. Fausel’s degrees include a Master of Music Education with Performance Emphasis from The Hartt School and a Bachelor of Applied Music from the University of Connecticut.
