Katie Frampton is a Music Education Major at the Hartt School at the University of Hartford. A violist, she is involved in many activities around the UHa campus: She is President of the Hartt Chapter of ASTA, Managing Editor of the Informer (UHa's student Newspaper), and Fundraising Chair of the UHa campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity. She is also involved with the MENC campus chapter.

A teacher at the Hartt String Project at the University of Hartford Magnet School, Katie also teaches privately and hopes to one day secure a job teaching strings in an elementary or middle school setting and/or perhaps teach general elementary music. (She's graduating May 2006, if anyone has a job offer!)
